Fall 2019

Q’s Corner: Notes from the International Trustee

Lee, Kyu C

Dear fellow international Huskies,

Happy Autumn!

Most of us Huskies know how much football means to our university and to the state of Washington.  What a fantastic start to the season!  Coming off two huge wins going into Week Five we are ranked #17 in the nation!  Being a former player myself I hold a huge sense of pride and look forward to seeing some of you at the upcoming game vs. USC on September 28 at Husky Stadium!  Go Dawgs!

For those elsewhere, I want to send a quick reminder to all of you to join me for UW Converge Taipei on November 9, 2019. As I mentioned before the date is set for the UW’s premier gathering of international alumni and friends, and you won’t want to miss it!  We’ll start the day with a summit on artificial intelligence, explore perspectives on this exciting topic from experts in law, medicine, engineering and business. In addition, our very own UW President, Ana Mari Cauce will deliver a keynote address. After the summit, you’ll get to connect with UW’s world-class alumni network at a poolside after party at the W Hotel Taipei!

Let’s get it, International Huskies!
