Undergraduate Academic Affairs shapes, advances, and stewards a world-class undergraduate academic experience for students at the University of Washington. We deepen and enrich the learning experience for all undergraduates, recognizing and supporting the unique learning path of each individual student and the commitment of each academic program to excellence in teaching and learning.

We believe that curiosity, collaboration and resilience flourish in a diverse and inclusive culture and lead to innovation, organizational excellence, and formative and transformative student learning.

Recognition awards are presented annually to Undergraduate Academic Affairs employees who best exemplify the values of Undergraduate Academic Affairs in their daily work and efforts to support the UAA mission. Nominations are sought each year during spring quarter.

Awards nominations are submitted using a Catalyst dropbox. Please compile your nomination materials for each individual into a single pdf document and upload it to this Catalyst dropbox and submit according to “assignment.”
