They are signing up 100 volunteers to help read the Constitution aloud on Friday, Oct. 12. Students, faculty and staff are eligible to participate, and each will get to read several sentences.

The reading will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. outside the Suzzallo Library Main Reading Room on the third floor. To sign up as a reader, go to to http://tinyurl.com/24vafw. (Don’t worry about printing or saving the confirmation code generated after you hit “Submit.”)

An easy-to-read .PDF edition of the Constitution can be found online at http://tinyurl.com/nzmxo. And if you want more indepth information, you can skim through the 2,000-page “Analysis and Interpretation” produced by the Congressional Research Service, online at http://www.gpoaccess.gov/constitution/index.html.
