$14M federal grant for UW-led PacTrans

The U.S. Department of Transportation announced that it has awarded approximately $14 million over five years to the Pacific Northwest Transportation Consortium (PacTrans). This consortium is a multi-university, regional transportation center led by the University of Washington to fund research aimed at improving the mobility of people and goods across the Pacific Northwest. PacTrans represents Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska and is one of the 10 regional University Transportation Centers across the U.S. Read more about the USDOT grant from UW Today.
