Making an impact
At the University of Washington, there are many things we believe in, like opportunity, global citizenship, academic excellence and the potential for one good idea to inspire a whole chain of great ideas.
And, we believe in tomorrow.
These beliefs drive us to continue exploring, imagining, innovating and pushing boundaries. As part of our commitment to making discoveries that address society’s key challenges, President Michael K. Young launched Tomorrow’s University Today. This initiative focuses on:
- Leading change in public higher education
- Turning the UW inside out to apply expertise to K – 12 education, environmental sustainability, health care and social justice
- Driving our economic future
Explore the videos, resources and links on this page to learn more about how we’re working to make an impact in these areas and more.
