Grant and Contract Fiscal Administration II (Q0402)

This intermediate course is designed for individuals currently using or administering grant and contract budgets. Participants gain increased knowledge of complex policies, rules, regulations, and procedures necessary for post-award administration of grant and contract budgets. To receive credit for this course, participants must complete an online quiz prior to class and attend the three-hour in-person class. The quiz is designed to give students the experience of researching and finding answers online. A link with quiz instructions is provided by instructors approximately two weeks before class start date.

PREREQUISITES: Fundamentals of Grant and Contract Management (or equivalent), Grant and Contract Fiscal Administration I (or equivalent), a minimum of six months’ experience working with grants and contracts, and a working knowledge of MyFD or FIN (Financial System) and BGT (Budget System) within the online Financial Accounting System (FAS).

This course is part of the Fiscal Management Certificate.
