This introductory course is designed for individuals beginning to work with grant and contract budgets at the UW. Participants explore the life cycle of a grant/contract, as well as policies, rules, regulations, and procedures necessary for the administration of grants/contracts. Content also includes references on where to find financial information related to their budgets. To receive credit for the course, participants must complete an online quiz prior to class, and attend the three-hour in-person class. The quiz is designed to give participants the experience of researching and finding answers online. A link with quiz instructions is provided by instructors approximately two weeks before class start date.
