The Population Health Initiative has again partnered with CoMotion’s Innovation Fund to offer a $50,000 Population Health Innovation Award for the Fund’s spring 2019 round of funding. The Population Health Innovation Award will fund projects that support the initiative’s vision of creating a world where all people can live healthier and more fulfilling lives. The University of Washington’s Natural Hazards Reconnaissance Experimental Facility launched earlier this fall with the goal of developing more resilient communities through the collection, assessment and archiving of high-quality perishable data in the aftermath of disasters. Applications are being accepted until January 14 for summer 2019 postings.
