Biography
Jessica Iwuoha is a graduate student in the Museology program at University of Washington, where she hopes to achieve a career in conservation, preservation, public programming, and exhibition design in museum practices. With an undergraduate background in History and Ancient Civilizations, she brings a strong appreciation for cultural narratives and community voice to her work. Some of her research explores how museums can design inclusive, meaningful experiences that reflect diverse perspectives and foster intergenerational learning. Through her coursework, Jessica has developed qualitative evaluation projects, designed public programming, created a digitial exhibition, and has done hands-on education and community engagement projects. Jessica’s approach bridges scholarship and practice, grounded in the belief that museums thrive when they act as shared spaces for dialogue, reflection, and belonging.
