A Staff writer for The New Yorker, Orlean is the author of many books, including The Library BookThe Orchid ThiefRin Tin Tine: The Life and the Legend and Saturday Night. Orlean will discuss The Library Book, her writing style and the role of libraries in her life and writing. She will be interviewed by Maria Semple, a Seattle local, New York Times bestselling author, and screenwriter.
