There are several sources of rules and policies that apply to hearings. The Hearing Officer will identify these rules for each hearing matter. Below are links to rules which may apply:
- WAC Ch. 478-121 – Chapter 478-121 of the Washington Administrative Code (WAC) provides the rules for student conduct and for adjudicating alleged violations of those rules. It is sometimes referred to as the Student Conduct Code.
- SGP 209 – Student Governance Policy (SGP) Chapter 209 is the University’s Student Conduct Policy for Academic Misconduct and Behavioral Misconduct.
- SGP 210 – Student Governance Policy (SGP) Chapter 210 is the University’s Student Conduct Policy for Discriminatory and Sexual Harassment, Intimate Partner Violence, Sexual Misconduct, Stalking, and Retaliation.
- EDFR – The 2020 Department of Education Federal Regulations (EDFR) regarding sexual harassment.
- Executive Order No. 70 – University compliance with Department of Education Sexual Harassment Regulations.
