The University of Washington is pleased to host the second PNW Anti-Hazing Summit on July 15, 2026! We are excited to host regional colleagues to discuss this critical topic. We are currently in the planning stages, and this webpage will be updated throughout the year with important information about the Summit.

Planning Committee
Alex Salemme, M.Ed., is the Hazing Prevention and Response Specialist for Community Standards & Student Conduct. He joined the university in October 2023 and earned his B.S. in Middle-Level Education from Winthrop University. He also holds an M.Ed. in Education Administration from the University of South Carolina and an M.Ed. in Learning Design and Technology from Winthrop University. He is an affiliated member of an NIC fraternity. During his free time, he enjoys traveling, working, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Alex’s pronouns are he/him/his.
Kate Law, Ed.D., is the Assistant Dean of Students at Boise State University. She has worked in student affairs for over 8 years with progressive leadership responsibilities. Her professional focus is responding to behavioral and academic misconduct for the institution while fostering a thriving community where everyone is healthy and safe.

Arielle Wilcox is the Compliance Education Coordinator at Washington State University’s Health Education Department, a position dedicated to the creation and implementation of state and federally required programs for matriculating students, and the facilitation of harm reduction health education to undergraduate students on a variety of topics. Her work with hazing prevention at WSU includes training Peer Health Educators to facilitate programming to student organizations, provide access to online educational modules to all incoming students under Washington State law, and serving in an appointed role on the WSU Hazing Prevention Advisory Committee. Beyond hazing prevention, her background in public health is applied to outreach for mental health and suicide prevention, substance misuse prevention, interpersonal violence prevention, and sexual health education.
