2016-17 Financial Aid

The 2016-17 FAFSA is available as of January 1, 2016. The UW's priority deadline for filing the FAFSA is February 28. Don't wait until the last minute - file early. You may use estimated taxes if you or your parents have not yet filed your taxes for 2015. The UW's school code is 003798.

Parent PLUS Loans

Parents borrowing PLUS loans must complete a new application each year they borrow. Go to now to apply for loans for 2015-16. See our checklist for more information.

New Borrowers of Federal Student Loans

If you are a new borrower of a federal student loan - subsidized or unsubsidized Stafford or Graduate Plus loan you will need to complete Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note before your loan(s) can disburse.
