Book signing tomorrow at University Bookstore
Actress Dawn Wells of Gilligan’s Island fame will be at the University Bookstore this Wednesday, December 10th. Be there at 7PM for a special presentation and the chance to meet the woman who played this iconic television role. More information can be found here.

Alley Lights brings holiday cheer to U District
Looking for something festive this weekend? The second annual Alley Lights event is happening on Saturday, December 6th. Tour the alleys to see light installations, hear live music, and grab a snack and a hot drink. The alley tour starts at 4PM in front of Café Allegro, and ends at 7PM.
North of 45th food drive
As part of the University’s initiative to strengthen community relations north of campus, interns working for the Office of Regional & Community Relations and the Office of Community Standards organized a food drive to support the University Food Bank. More than 720 pounds of food were collected during the drive. This is an example of how students and permanent residents can work together to support local non-profits while also building stronger connections with each other.
