The database can be searched by zipcode and activity type and was developed by the Health Promotion Research Center, part of the School of Public Health at the University of Washington.

Helping the Mind and Body Soar
If dance is an expression of the human spirit, then it is best expressed by people of all abilities. Uniting the talents of dancers both with and without disabilities, the UW School of Dance is offering fun and intensive summer workshops in dance and theatre geared for children and adults of all abilities and skill levels. The Integrated Dance Summer Intensive 2011 is now open for registration.

In honor of Earth Day, members of FUITS, the Foundation for International Understanding Through Students participated in the Annual Duwamish Alive Earth Day clean-up at the West Duwamish Greenbelt. This event is one of many volunteer opportunities associated with UW Earth Day 2011 on Friday.
