In May, UW Alumni Indonesia co-hosted a public forum on strategic investment during times of uncertainty. Alumni and friends gathered at Menara Imperium for an evening of expert insights, lively discussion and community connection.

In June, alumni in Korea gathered for a summer golf tournament, spending the day on the course reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. The event was a perfect mix of friendly competition and Husky camaraderie.


Global Business Law Fellowship dinner

UW alumni in Singapore welcomed students from the Global Business Law Fellowship program for a special dinner. The evening fostered connections between current fellows and alumni, highlighting UW’s global legal community.


Student send-offs

In July, Vice President for Student Life, Denzil Suite and Assistant Vice President for International Advancement, Ray Li visited Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Taipei. During their travels, they connected students heading to the UW at student send-offs and gathered with our alumni communities.

In August, Shanghai co-president Cameron Johnson, ’02, traveld to Delhi to connect with fellow alumni over dinner. Cross-border gatherings like this highlight the power of the Husky network to bring people together wherever they are.

In September, the UW Recognition Gala honored those who serve and give generously to the University. Thailand Huskies Boon, ’78, and Chieko Chaya were among the donors and volunteers in attendance.

The Shenzhen alumni community rang in the “new school year” with a lively evening at Hiding Restaurant Bar. Two dozen Huskies joined for food, drinks and conversation.


Meeting campus all stars

China Huskies Peter Cheung, ’87, and Sean Liu, ’87, made the trip back to campus to watch the Dawgs take the gridiron in Husky Stadium. While they were there, they also caught up with the starting lineup of UW leadership including UW President Robert J. Jones, Vice President for Student Life, Denzil Suite, and Director of Athletics, Pat Chun
