A current Washington state driver license, or
A current Washington state ID card

Upcoming Washington State Election Dates

Special elections are often missed, but they are opportunities to vote on the local issues that affect us most, like tax propositions, school boards, government structures and municipal measures outside of primary and general elections.

Winter 2019 — Special Election
Monday, Jan. 14, 2019: Deadline for online and mail-in voter registration, all address changes, name changes, and other updates. In-person voter registrations for new voters accepted up to eight days prior to Election Day.
Friday, Jan. 25, 2019: Start of 18-day voting period. Deadline for ballots to be mailed out. Accessible Voting Units (AVUs) are available at voting centers. County Elections Departments may mail ballots before this date.
Monday, Feb. 4, 2019: Deadline for new Washington state voter registration (in person only).
Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019: Special Election — Drop boxes close promptly at 8 p.m.

Spring 2019 — Special Election
