Portland Huskies Make a Difference for Dogs (and Cats)!

In April, UW alumni in Portland turned compassion into action by supporting pets in need. Together, Huskies, families and friends rallied to collect urgently needed food and supplies for the Oregon Humane Society, the Northwest’s oldest and largest animal welfare organization.

Thanks to their generosity, several overflowing cartloads were delivered to OHS, helping pets awaiting adoption and supporting the organization’s broader mission. Beyond adoptions, the multiple locations of OHS provide public veterinary services, humane law enforcement education, disaster response training and supplies to local SNAP food banks.

A huge thank you to our Portland-area Dawgs for stepping up!
