NY Huskies gather around The President’s Circle

In early May, more than 30 New York Huskies gathered at the home of University of Washington Foundation Board member Ron Simons, ’01, to celebrate The President’s Circle. This reception for loyal supporters of UW was the first of its kind on the East Coast. Huskies got a chance to not only connect with each other, but also gain a deeper understanding of how their philanthropy impacts students. Joshua Dawson, ’18, spoke about the powerful impact scholarships can have on students from diverse backgrounds.

The President’s Circle is composed of individuals dedicated to the UW. What began almost 50 years ago as a small group has now grown into a community of over 13,000 alumni, friends, staff, faculty and fans with far-reaching effects on generations of Huskies and the greater world.
