2016 Homecoming Court
We were proud to give the 2016 Homecoming Scholarships to six students who represent the best of the Husky spirit. Congratulations Homecoming Royalty Kevin Celustka and Allison Chan and Homecoming Court Ivyanne Smith, Josh Bean, Rajdeep Chokar and Aubrey Gower. Thank you to all UWAA members who help support student scholarships like these!
- Congratulations to the 2016 Homecoming Court!
- Homecoming Court: Senior Rajdeep Chokar. Rajdeep is involved with UW Giddha, the cultural dance team on campus. She is a mentor through the Mentor Power for Success Program and an HLC recipient. She completed her first internship abroad in South Africa this past summer.
- Homecoming Court: Junior Josh Bean. Josh is President of Theta Chi Fraternity, part of UW Greek Leaders and a Peer Health Educator. He recently biked across the country with two friends to raise over $26,000 to support young adults battling cancer.
- Homecoming Royalty: Senior Kevin Celustka. Kevin has three years of leadership in the ASUW Senate and three years as a UW Leaders Mentor. He’s also an Undergraduate Researcher at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
- Homecoming Royalty: Senior Allison Chan. Allison has been involved with UW Leaders, the UW Joint Faculty Council for Women & Multicultural Affairs, Husky Creative and TedxUofW. She’s worked at the Seattle Children’s Research Institute designing clinical information systems that help us better understand the complexity of human health.
- Homecoming Court: Junior Ivyanne Smith. Ivyanne serves as a leader with the Chi Omega sorority and is Captain of the competitive Hip-Hop team.
- Homecoming Court: Senior Aubrey Gower. Aubrey is a FIG Leader, participates in the Undergraduate Research Symposium and is currently conducting research for Seattle Children’s Research Institute.
