Non-Financial Retirement Planning: Planning for a Life Worth Living

Thurs. March 7, 2019      5:15-7:15 p.m.

Odegaard Library, Room 220

All of the careful financial planning in the world doesn’t answer one of the central questions many face at retirement: Who will I be without my job?

Learn how to create a compelling, positive vision for your retirement and personal future. Through reflective exercises and group discussions you will explore how your interests, values and strengths can help you shape your post-employment years.

Registration: $15

Maurice WarnerNancy Wick

This workshop will be most valuable to individuals or couples approaching retirement or who are newly retired, but anyone at any stage of life with an interest in non-financial retirement planning is welcome to attend. It will be led by Nancy Wick, retired from UW News and Information, and Maurice Warner, retired Associate Director of the UW Counseling Center. Together they have been exploring the timely issues surrounding the personal transition to retirement.

Light refreshments will be available. Questions? Please call the UWRA at 206-543-8600 or email retiremt@uw.edu.
