About Elisa Pupko, ’05
Elisa Pupko, ’05, is a proud University of Washington alumna who has transformed her passion for theater and early childhood education into a thriving career as both a performer and entrepreneur. After earning her degree in Drama from UW, Pupko taught at Seattle Children’s Theatre, Taproot Theatre and other Seattle institutions, inspiring young people across the Pacific Northwest through arts education and performance.
Now based in Brooklyn, Pupko is the founder and executive director of Treasure Trunk Theatre, which she launched in 2012 to spark imagination and confidence in children through the power of storytelling. Deeply influenced by her own experiences growing up in Seattle and receiving scholarships for theater programs, she now pays it forward by ensuring access to the arts for children in underserved communities.
