Join our distinguished group of University of Washington alumni and friends for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and lively conversation at the Lotos Club, located at 5 East 66th Street, New York, NY. We will be joined by Annie Young-Scrivner, ’91, CEO of Godiva.

Cost: $50

The reception begins at 6 p.m., and the program begins at 7 p.m. Attire is club dress code: jacket and tie for gentlemen, business attire for ladies. Annie Young-Scrivner Annie Young-Scrivner, CEO of GODIVA

Annie Young-Scrivner is an executive with over 25 years of global leadership experience. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Godiva. Godiva is a super-premium chocolatier that started in 1926 in Belgium and has expanded its distribution to over 100 countries across the globe while honoring its Belgium heritage.

Prior to her CEO role, she had a successful seven-year career at Starbucks, where she was instrumental in the turnaround of their business performance. She served as Global Chief Marketing Officer, Starbucks Coffee Company & President, Tazo Tea. During that time, her team refreshed the brand for multi-channel growth, launched new innovation and thrust Starbucks to lead in social and digital media. She then moved to lead their Canada business, the largest retail and CPG business outside of the US with over 1,000 retail stores and 15,000 employees.

Prior to Starbucks, she had a strong 20-year career with PepsiCo. Annie led organizations in Marketing, Sales and General Management. With PepsiCo, she had the opportunity to work in 27 different countries. One of her favorite roles was President and Chairman of PepsiCo Food in Greater China, where she built an award-winning team that delivered double-digit growth during her tenure. Her last role with PepsiCo was Chief Marketing Officer & Head of Sales for Quaker Oats.

Annie is a member of the Dean’s Board of Advisors for the Foster School of Business at University of Washington. Annie is also on the International Council of Women’s Business Leadership. When she can, she lectures at University of Washington and Yale School of Management.

Annie received her Executive MBA from Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota and her Bachelor of Arts from University of Washington. She had executive education training at Yale School of Management, IMD in Switzerland and the Darden School of Management.
