Hit the road, Huskies! Lace up your sneakers and take to the streets for our annual 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk. Whether you’re running with us in-person on the scenic UW campus or joining us for the Run Anywhere virtual race, it’s a day of fun for the whole Husky pack.
Your participation supports student scholarships!
When you register for Alaska Airlines Dawg Dash, you support the UW Alumni Association’s general scholarship fund. This lets us honor six extraordinary students across all the UW campuses, via our Homecoming Scholars program. Thank you!
Adults
The 2024 Alaska Airlines Dawg Dash shirts are black, short-sleeve Brooks Running tech t-shirts. This comfy, breathable top is a great way to show your Husky spirit all year long. Adult registrants also receive a collectable finisher’s medal.
Children
Dawg Dash is great for the whole family. Kids eight and under can join the Husky Pups Run presented by AMBA, running on a special kids’ course that loops around Drumheller Fountain. Child runners receive a kid-sized t-shirt plus a finisher’s ribbon. Registered for the Run Anywhere option? We’ll send the shirt and ribbon in the mail!
Dogs
Even your four-legged friends can join the fun! Register your dog and receive a limited-edition dogdanna, courtesy of WSECU. One size fits most, from beagles to boxers.

Registering a child or a dog for the Run Anywhere option? When you sign up as an adult virtual runner, you will see options to add children and dogs to your registration.
Post-Dash Bash
Cross the finish line and pick up your finisher’s medal from the friendly flight attendants at the Alaska Airlines Refuel Station! Then catch your breath and enjoy snacks, prizes and activities for the whole family, including the Husky Pups Run presented by AMBA. It’s a great chance to recover, recharge and grab a selfie with our giant inflatable Husky. Don’t forget to pose with your puppy at the Strut Your Mutt photo booth, presented by WSECU.
