Happy 509 Day! On this day, we take a moment to salute UW alumni and friends east of the Cascades. From Ellensburg to Spokane, Walla Walla to Oroville, celebrate 509 Day by giving a cheer to the Huskies on May 9 at 5:09 p.m.

What is 509 Day? In 2017, 509 Day was created to celebrate Huskies east of the Cascades. Every year on May 9, (5/09? Get it?) we call out to UW alumni and friends all over Eastern and Central Washington. Along with our best wishes, we also send little gifts to help you show your purple and gold spirit.
