Husky Ice-Skating Night

Sat. Feb. 3 | 7:30–9:30 p.m.

• General admission: $20
• UW Students: $10
• Children under 4 years old: free

Grab your thick socks and your sense of adventure! Whether you can already skate backwards or this is your first time on the ice, join us for an evening of frosty fun at the Kraken Community Iceplex.

UW students, Husky alumni, plus family and friends are all invited. We’ll take care of all the details — including skate rental.

Warm up with a tasty break after all that time on the ice! Our friends at BECU will bring the cocoa and cookies, plus a cute knit hat for your winter fashion needs.

Children under 16 must attend with an adult. All attendees will also need to sign release forms/liability waivers during registration or upon arrival.

New!  Husky Roller-Skating Night

Huskies, get your skates on! The UW takes over the Southgate Roller Rink for a night while our DJ spins new and old-school hits. Whether you’re a seasoned skater or new to the rink, all are welcome. Skate rental and snacks are included in your ticket price.

Special Guests! Skaters from Rat City Roller Derby (both current league skaters and alums) will be there to give pointers and tips to those who might be a little wobbly on their wheels. Rat City celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, and a few lucky attendees will win door prizes, including tickets to the 2024 roller derby season, as well as Rat City and UW merch.
