Angela Davis-Unger has been a research scientist with the Office of Educational Assessment (OEA) since 2007, providing research, evaluation and assessment services. She has assisted with a wide variety of education-related projects including ongoing evaluations of the William H. Gates Public Service Law Scholarship program and the Initiative for Maximizing Student Diversity, a program designed to increase the number of under-represented students entering graduate programs in biomedical research fields. Angela received her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Washington. She has taught in the University of Washington's Interdisciplinary Writing Program (IWP) and the Department of Psychology and received a Distinguished Teaching Award for her contributions. As a graduate student at the University of Washington, she was a member of the Committee for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) in the Department of Psychology, examining issues of teaching and learning in higher education.
