Get a mammogram — and a compact mirror in the bargain

UW faculty and staff will receive a complimentary compact mirror when they schedule a mammogram at UW Medical Centers Roosevelt Clinic from now through the end of November.

Breast cancer is the second most common form of cancer among American women (after skin cancers). This year, 230,480 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed. The good news is there are more than 2.5 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. Thanks to early detection, breast cancer is highly curable. And the best way to do that is with an annual mammogram after the age of 40.

The clinic is located at 4245 Roosevelt Way NE, and is a regular stop on the Health Sciences Express. Complimentary parking is also available for mammography services. To schedule an appointment, call Radiology at 206-598-6868.
