The Forum on Science, Ethics and Policy will have its first general meeting of the year at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8 in 228 Mary Gates. The group, which is hosted by the Graduate School, is a multidisciplinary organization of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows that provides an opportunity for dialogue about the impact of science in our world.
Past discussion topics have included energy policy, climate change, science funding, science outreach, stem cells, gene patenting, healthcare policy, evolution and the environment. Participants will be treated to refreshments at the meeting, and there will be a happy hour afterward at the College Inn.
