Hear what makes for good acoustics at Oct. 11 Northwest Voice Foundation meeting

“Acoustics for Talking, Performing and Listening” will be the topic of the Oct. 11 Northwest Chapter Voice Foundation meeting.


Basel Judy, principal acoustician at Sparling, will talk and answer questions about architectural acoustics.


The meeting takes place with a business session at 6:30 p.m., followed by the discussion from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, at UW Eagleson Hall, 15 Ave NE and NE 42 St., in Seattle.


The meeting is open to all persons interested in voice — singers, speech and language therapists, physicians, directors, actors, dilettantes, dialect coaches, clergy, spoken word artists, and so on.
