‘Early Bloomers’ kicks off the garden season

The Arboretum Foundation’s annual Early Bloomers Plant Sale returns from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 11. This volunteer-run sale will feature plants propagated from specimens in the Washington Park Arboretum collection, as well as others donated to the Arboretum by area gardeners.

Shoppers will find a great-selection of early-blooming perennials such as epimediums and trilliums, as well a wonderful array of young shrubs, conifers, and small trees.

Early Bloomers will be held outside Washington Park Arboretum’s Graham Visitors Center, at 2300 Arboretum Drive East, in Seattle. Parking and admission are free; the sale benefits Washington Park Arboretum. For information, go to www.arboretumfoundation.org or call 206-325-4510.
