Guitar Ensemble celebrates Spain and Latin America on Feb. 6

Students of Michael Partington will present music with guitar to celebrate Spain and Latin America, in ¡Guitarra! at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, in Brechemin Auditorium.

The program will include Boccherini’s famous Introduction and Fandango, and selections from Bizet’s Carmen Suite arranged for guitar quartet, plus music from Astor Piazzolla, Celso Machado, Jorge Cardoso and Fernando Sor. Guest soloists will include mezzo-soprano Jane Lin and flutist Maggie Stapleton.
