UWB chancellor search committee to hold forum

The Search Advisory Committee for the University of Washington, Bothell Chancellor is holding stakeholder forums during the candidate identification period. The Search Advisory Committee is co-chaired by Bruce Bare, Dean of the College of Forest Resources and Mary Baroni, Professor and Director of Nursing Program, UW Bothell.


UW faculty, staff, and students are invited to the following public forum on the UW, Bothell Chancellor search:


Wednesday, October 12
Time: 3:30 p.m. to 4:20 p.m.
Place: Physics & Astronomy Building A118, UW Seattle campus
Host: Search Advisory Committee
Moderators: Bruce Bare and Mary Baroni, Committee co-Chairs


Although a free exchange of questions and comments are envisioned for these forums, the following are questions with which the committee will guide the discussions:



  • From your constituency perspective, what are the most pressing issues and priorities facing UWB and a new UWB Chancellor?
  • What personal and leadership characteristics are required to accomplish these priorities?
  • What resources will a UWB Chancellor need to be a successful leader?


Individual nominations, recommendations, and applications will remain confidential throughout the search.
