Mathematics Education Project (MEP)

This program partners with local schools to transform mathematics teaching and learning so all students develop a robust understanding of mathematical concepts.

The academy, an intensive, four-week summer program at the UW in Seattle, is for high-achieving high school juniors from across the state who are interested in pursuing engineering and computer science-related disciplines.

Puget Sound Writing Project for Teachers

The program, part of the UW English Department, welcomes K-16 teachers who want to deepen their knowledge about the teaching of writing. Teachers in the program have the opportunity to practice their own writing, investigate an educational topic of their choice related to writing, share their teaching strategies and learn efficient strategies from other teachers.

WWAMI

WWAMI is an enduring partnership between the University of Washington School of Medicine and the states of Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho. The program’s purpose is to provide access to publicly supported medical education across the five-state region. WWAMI focuses not only on medical students but on students in K-12, college students, medical school graduates in residency and physicians in community practice.
