Sandpoint Studios Open House Thursday

The Sandpoint Studios

The Painting + Drawing MFA students invite you to visit their studios this Thursday, January 24, from 7:30-9:00 PM. Sandpoint Studios is located in Building 5, Bay C, 2nd floor in Magnuson Park. This is a rare opportunity to see behind-the-scenes, view finished and in-progress work, and talk with the students about their artistic processes.

Catch the volunteer spirit

On Monday, January 21st, people from around the country will be honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by transforming his life and teaching into civic action. If you’d like to join other volunteers at the University of Washington, click on the REGISTER FOR A SERVICE PROJECT LINK to view the service projects still available, then register on Facebook to gather for some inspirational words on the morning of Martin Luther King Day along with coffee, pastries, and event t-shirts. MLK Day of Service projects coordinated by Carlson Leadership & Public Service Center in partnership with United Way of King County.
