Take Me There: Maps and Books from Old Japan

See books, manuscripts and maps published in Japan’s Tokugawa Period (1603-1868) that came to light and are were cataloged during the Tateuchi Retrospective Cataloging project in the East Asia Library. Take Me There: Maps and Books from Old Japan is on exhibit in the Allen Library North Lobby and East Asia Library until June 5.

Demolition project near stadium goes underground

Removing thousands of tons of concrete and steel used to temporarily  brace the walls of the new Sound Transit light-rail station adjacent to Husky Stadium and underneath the Montlake Cut shipping channel has been technical and complicated work.
