
Aaron Hoard Biography

Aaron Hoard holds a B.A. in Geography from the University of Washington. Before joining the Office of Regional Affairs, Aaron worked as an Associate Planner at the City of Bellevue. There, he conducted policy analysis and developed recommendations for the City's Comprehensive Plan. He worked on regional issues regarding buildable lands, land capacity, and affordable housing. Aaron also served as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst for the City.
Aaron currently serves as the Deputy Director for Regional Affairs. He assists in carrying out the role of the Office by coordinating institutional policy in the areas of land use, transportation, housing and economic development. This position represents and promotes interests of the University during interactions with City and County governments, local community groups and business organizations.
