Welcome to the UWAA Volunteer Center
Our volunteers have many different reasons for getting involved. Most are UW grads who had a great experience here and want to give back, but many are friends of the University, who believe in our goals of providing scholarship awards, lifelong learning, social and career networking opportunities, improving the student experience, and having fun!.
We're glad you want to get involved. There are three main ways you can help make a difference with the University of Washington Alumni Association:
- Volunteer for our clubs, chapters and special events.
- Attend those same events, and bring your friends!
- Become a member, since membership dollars support our great programs and events.
And if you're a current volunteer, please be sure to review our Volunteer Orientation.
"Volunteering in general is a worthwhile experience, but volunteering for the UWAA is a very special experience. Not only do you get to help the UW, but there’s so many ways to become involved. Mentoring, fundraising, committees, event planning – it’s all part of the experience. It’s all part of what makes the UWAA so meaningful." - Gregg Blodgett, '76 |
