Member Night at Terracotta Warriors of the First Emperor

Fri. April 14, 2017      7–10 p.m.

Pacific Science Center

Enjoy a first-week encounter with ancient history at this one-of-a-kind exhibition at Pacific Science Center. UWAA members will get exclusive, after-hours access to the exhibition, which features one of the most famous archaeological finds of the 20th century. Dating to around 200 B.C.E., these detailed sculptures were part of an enormous army of statues set to guard the tomb of China’s very first emperor. The tomb was discovered in 1974 and continues to yield secrets to this day.

The terracotta warriors are rarely allowed out of China. This exhibition is only coming to two cities in the U.S., and will only be in Seattle for a limited time — you don’t want to miss it!

Admission: $16 (regular price: adults $32.75; seniors $30.75; youth $27.75; child $24.75)
