A cornerstone of the UW women’s golf program, head coach Mary Lou Mulflur is in her 34th season directing the Huskies. Mulflur’s dedication, teaching and coaching skills as well as her fundraising abilities, have allowed her to build the Husky program into one of the nation’s most competitive teams on an annual basis, most recently capped by leading the Huskies to its first NCAA National Championship in 2016.

In 33 seasons as the Husky women’s golf coach, Mulflur has led the Huskies to 24 of the 25 NCAA Regionals that have been contested since their inception in 1993. She has also led her teams to 12 NCAA Championships.

For her service to Washington women’s golf and college golf in general, Mulflur was inducted into the Women’s Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame in December, 2013. Three times during Mulflur’s career she has been named the Pac-10 Coach of the Year. She is also the only coach who has attended every PAC-10/12 championship since the inception of a women’s conference tournament in 1987.
