The annual Nurses Recognition Banquet celebrates the profession of nursing and acknowledges the many ways nurses improve health and touch lives by honoring our community’s outstanding nurses and nursing leaders.

On Wednesday, May 6, the UW School of Nursing will present five awards to outstanding graduates and other exceptional individuals in the greater nursing community. This celebration affirms the strong bonds between the School of Nursing and our community partners.

Gregory J. Nickels, 51st mayor of Seattle and School of Nursing Advisory Board Member, will be the evening’s master of ceremonies.
