Leadership for Leads (Q0420)

Moving into a lead position is one of the most challenging career transitions anyone can make. Becoming a lead represents a fundamental change in the way you view people—and the way people view you in your new role. This course focuses on giving leads a greater understanding of what it really means to be a leader by clarifying the responsibilities and the priorities associated with the lead role. Participants gain a clearer understanding of their impact on individuals, teams, the department, and the University—but most importantly, participants leave with the confidence and skills necessary not only to cope with the new role, but to be pretty good at it too!

This course is part of the HR Administration Certificate.
