Special Assistant Attorneys General
All legal matters pertaining to the University, including the branch campuses, off-campus facilities, and the two medical centers, are handled by the Attorney General's Office. University personnel should not seek the services of outside counsel concerning University business without prior consultation with the division. Outside counsel may only be appointed as Special Assistant Attorney General by the Attorney General' Office. The services of Special Assistant Attorneys General will be paid by the Attorney General's Office (reimbursed by the University) in accordance with Office of Financial Management guidelines.
