Join us for two of the largest UW traditions combined into one event!
New Student Convocation is one of only two occasions where the University president, the Board of Regents, the deans of the 16 schools and colleges and the faculty gather in a formal academic setting focused on students. The other, of course, is the graduation ceremony, Commencement. These two events are the seminal “bookend” events of a college career.
First-year students, parents, families, and friends are welcome to register and participate. Registration is free. However, please sign up in advance to receive the link to join online.

The offices of Parent & Family and First Year Programs would like to invite the parents, families, and all supporters of our #newhuskies2020 to participate in our annual tradition of New Student Convocation & Husky Kick-Off.
We have the following watch parties, so parents are able to virtually meet and chat with UW parents & families within your region. Each group will be facilitated by a UW staff member.
We will be giving away some UW Family Swag during the pre-show!
