THIS INTERDISCIPLINARY COURSE
FOCUSES ON THE LITERARY AND
PHILOSOPHICAL INFLUENCES OF ARTIST
AND ACTIVIST, TUPAC SHAKUR. WE WILL
STUDY A VARIETY OF PRIMARY AND
SECONDARY TEXTS, INCLUDING THE
PRINCE, THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF MALCOM
X, AND THE ART OF WAR. WE READ
THESE TEXTS ALONGSIDE WRITING BY
TUPAC AND INTERVIEWS TO UNDERSTAND
THE ENDURING IMPACT OF HIS WORK.
THIS COURSE IS MOSTLY ONLINE. WE'LL
MEET IN PERSON ON THE FIRST DAY TO
INTRODUCE TOPIC AND EXPECTATIONS. A
THIS TIME, STUDENTS WILL SIGN UP FO
