Public Comment Period

The University of Washington Board of Regents will provide a public comment period at each regular meeting of the Board.

A ten-minute public comment period will be provided at the beginning of each regular meeting of the Board. Speakers will be allowed up to two minutes each for their comments with preference given to those who sign up in advance.

Sign up to provide public comment at the meeting of the Board on Wednesday, January 10, and Thursday, January 11, 2024, using the Request to Provide Public Comment form available at noon on Friday, January 5, 2024.

Please include:

  • name
  • email address and/or phone number
  • subject of your comments
  • relationship to the University (student, faculty, staff, alumni, other)

Speakers are encouraged to address a topic germane to an issue being discussed at the meeting. Preference will be given to those who sign up in advance.

It is not necessary to sign up to attend the meeting.

Substitute House Bill 2313 amended RCW 28.B.20.105 to provide for public comment at each meeting of the Board.  The Bill is effective on June 7, 2012.
