Nancy Woelfle (Class of ’78) is a first generation college graduate of the University of Washington, and a proud indigenous Sami, with her family originating in Norwegian Sapmi. At the height of the coronavirus pandemic, alongside her son, Adam, they founded Undertow Trading as a way to share their love of coffee and tea with the world. In tribute to their Sea Sami heritage, Undertow is themed around the sea, and the incredible sea life above and below the depths of the ocean.
