Career programs for students
Husky Lunch Network presented by Pepsi
Conversation. Community. Free Lunch. The UW can feel big, but connection starts with a meal. Join other students and alumni who share your lived experiences for a free lunch and authentic conversation. Together, you’ll explore how personal identity can shape and strengthen your professional journey—and find inspiration from Huskies who’ve been there.
UW Husky Landing
Connect with Huskies who’ve been where you want to go. UW Husky Landing makes it easy to explore careers and build your network with alumni who share your interests. Use Career Paths to discover jobs by industry and see day-in-the-life videos, salary ranges, and real career journeys. Search open roles on the jobs board and message alumni working at companies or in fields you’re curious about. Thousands of UW grads are just a click away—ready to offer advice, mentorship, and support as you take your next steps. It all starts with your profile.
Huskies@Work
Curious about careers? Huskies@Work makes it easy to connect with a UW alum who’s walked a path you’re interested in. We handle the matchmaking—pairing you with someone based on your interests—and then it’s up to you two to set a time to chat, online or in person.
No prep, no pressure. Just one meaningful conversation where you can ask questions, hear real stories, and get advice from someone who’s been there.
Alumni Career Panels
Each quarter UWAA partners with the Career & Internship Center as part of an ongoing series to connect alumni in a wide range of career fields to offer practical advice to students preparing to transition from college into the work force. These virtual events are an easy way to get an inside look at a variety of jobs.
UWAA scholarship and job opportunities
Homecoming Scholars
Each year the UWAA is proud to honor six exceptional students across the UW’s Seattle, Bothell and Tacoma campuses whose stories exemplify Husky adaptability, tenacity and resolve. Each student is awarded a $6000 scholarship and recognized at the Homecoming football game in the Fall. Applications to be a 2025 Homecoming Scholar are now closed. Applications will open in spring 2026 for next year.
Student Alumni Ambassadors
The UWAA student alumni ambassadors engage with a wide range of people who make up our Husky community, from alumni and university officials to prospective and fellow students.
