Golden Graduates
Each spring, the UW Alumni Association invites all Huskies who graduated 50 or more years ago to gather and celebrate your enduring Husky connection.

Golden Graduates celebrates Huskies whose lifelong connection to the University of Washington continues to shape our community.
Each May, alumni from 50 or more years past are welcomed back to the Seattle campus for a special luncheon honoring their enduring impact, shared history, and continued engagement with UW.
This gathering is more than a reunion—it’s a moment to reflect on where your UW journey began, reconnect with fellow classmates, and celebrate the legacy you’ve helped build.
Golden Graduate Distinguished Alumnus Award
In 2016, the UW Alumni Association hosted the first Golden Graduates Brunch, honoring Huskies who graduated 50 or more years ago. That same year, they also created the Golden Graduate Distinguished Alumnus Award (GGDAA), given to an alumnus who has demonstrated sustained, long-term and meaningful engagement with the UW. We are pleased to recognize these esteemed graduates who embody the best of the Husky spirit. Learn more about our GGDAA recipients including our 2025 GGDAA, Pamela Mitchell, ’62, ’91.
Details for the 2026 Golden Graduate Brunch will be posted soon.
