Ancient Greece comes alive with visits to ruins and other archaeological sites.
Visit Athens’ key sights, explore Delphi’s spectacular ruins, and tour the renowned National Archaeological Museum. After seeing ancient Corinth’s ruins, spend three nights on the Peloponnesian coast. Marvel at Epidaurus and Mycenae’s ruins and discover idyllic Hydra. Staying three nights in Crete’s fascinating capital, Heraklion, tour the Palace of Knossos, visit an olive oil farm then cruise to Spinalonga. With two nights on picturesque Santorini, tour a winery and the Akrotiri archaeological site before returning to Athens.

- Walk 4-6 miles per day, including 1-3 miles at one time, often uphill, on uneven terrain especially at archaeological sites, and on marble surfaces that can be slippery.
- Archaeological sites in Greece require walking on steep grades.
- Occasional long walks from motorcoach drop-off to sights and hotels.
- Many stairs of varying height throughout tour.
- The Santorini Palace Hotel (Thira) does not have an elevator that has access to each floor.
